  • Description:
    • The project is located on the corner of L St NW and North Capitol St NW and consists of 7 levels above grade w/ 220 residential units.  The structure is wood framing from the third floor transfer slab up and reinforced concrete from the transfer slab down.  The facade consists of fiber cement paneling with metal panels between windows at the upper floors and masonry brick veneer at the lower floors.  The windows are to be vinyl while the storefront areas are to be aluminum.  Construction will start in June/July of 2020.

      Please note that while this project is officially under the New First Source Agreement, there is an option for McCullough Construction to secure an exemption for your trade by using an alternative program that has been implemented on another project.  What this means is that we would like you to bid the project and describe whether you can comply with the First Source hiring requirements or not.  
      
      Also, note that 35% CBE participation is required for McCullough to fulfill for this project.  This project will also comply with the Wage Rates for Building Construction greater than 4 stories as well as Section 3 Requirements as outlined by the DC Department of Housing and Community Development.  The project is not tax exempt.
