    This project has not started yet and as of now, not scheduled to begin until March of 2020. 
    
    This will be a filed bid project, so all the MEP’s, misc. metals, masonry, misc. metals, etc. will be bid publicly.

    Update 4: Neighborhood House Charter School is still going through the approval process with the City. I haven’t heard any update in about a year and don’t know where it is going. Date: January 27 2020
    Update 5: This project has not begun and do not know if it will ever get off the ground since it has been in the works for 3 years. Date: March 03 2020


  • Description:
    • In order to meet the instructional and school culture
      requirements, NHCS is planning to build an expansion of approximately 21,000 square feet containing 12
      additional classrooms, a middle school gymnasium, and support spaces. The project also includes
      reconfiguring the parking area to accommodate additional parking spaces and improve traffic flow on
      the property.
      Schedule: The project schedule targets construction completion in time for school occupancy in August
      2021. Key milestones include:
      July 2019 Article 80 and ZBA approvals
      March 2020 Begin construction
      June 30, 2021 Certificate of Occupancy
      Budget: The total hard cost is estimated to be $12 million.
